About Aksala Cats: My name is Kelda Morris and I breed and show Snowshoe and Australian Mist cats. I owned my first Snowshoe approx. 5 years ago and started to become involved in Australian Mists in 2010. I come from a family background who have bred and shown cats for many years. I try and show my cats as regularly as possible; my cats are my pets first and are only bred when I feel that they are ready. As I am involved with two relatively rare and new breeds of cats, I am happy to support those who are considering going into the breeding and showing world, or to give guidance on those who are new to the breed and would just like a pet. After having my first child 9 months ago, my cats have easily adjusted to the new noises and activities that children can bring(!), which shows how laid back and loving these two wonderful breeds of cats are!
